Simple audio recording in Ubuntu 20.04 or later

Open the terminal using "Ctrl + Alt + t" and copy paste the following:

sudo add-apt-repository  ppa:audio-recorder/ppa
sudo apt-get -y update
sudo apt-get install audio-recorder

This works for Ubuntu 15.x, 16.x, 17.x, 18.x, 19.x, 20.x, 21.x and 22.x and Linux Mint 18.x - 20.x.

Search and open "Audio Recorder".
